The Museum And The Rooms
The new museum is made up of two sections separated by a directional corridor. One section is entirely dedicated to the Codex Purpures, while the other is dedicated to the history of the diocese through the centuries

Path I
The Codex Purpureus (ROOMS 09 - 10 - 11)
The section dedicated to the Codex Purpureus is made up of three rooms [rooms 09 -10 - 11], two of them are propedeutic to the understanding of the Codex   [11]. In the “Codex” room the precious manuscript is shown in a new innovative showcase, next to it one will find a multimedia browser with continuous projection of the illuminations in high definition.
Nearby rooms [ 09 - 10], that can be visited before or after seeing the Codex, will contain video projections, touch screens and didactic panels with deeper information about the Codex for those who are eager to broaden their knowledge about the manuscript.
